Newport County partners with Celtic Manor Resort

Celtic Manor

Newport County is delighted to announce a new partnership with Celtic Manor Resort, providing players and staff with access to the resort's leisure facilities, as leisure members.

The partnership will support the club's focus on health, fitness and wellbeing, giving members of Hayden Mullins' squad and wider club staff access to the facilities at Celtic Manor Resort. In addition to the support for the players, the partnership also provides the club with access to the facilities for pregame meetings, team building events, hosting such events such as the Hall of Fame among plenty more exciting opportunities in which benefit both club and resort.

Located just a short distance from Rodney Parade, Celtic Manor Resort is South Wales' leading leisure and hospitality destination, making the partnership a natural fit between two prominent organisations in the local area.

Dan Williams said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Newport County AFC and to welcome their players and staff to The Celtic Manor Resort as leisure members. Health, fitness, and wellbeing are hugely important for professional athletes, and our leisure facilities provide an ideal environment to support their training and recovery. As a local business, we’re proud to work alongside Newport County and look forward to developing a strong relationship with the club.”

Sam Houldsworth, CEO of Newport County, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Celtic Manor Resort to the Newport County family and to be working with such a well-established local business. The health, fitness and wellbeing of our players and staff is incredibly important, and having access to the facilities at Celtic Manor Resort will be a fantastic benefit for everyone at the club. We are also excited to be holding the Hall of Fame event in the outstanding Caernarfon Suite, an evening which provides the opportunity for us as a club to induct true legends of the club. We’re looking forward to building a strong partnership and working together throughout the season and beyond.”

The partnership further strengthens Newport County's links with businesses and organisations across the local community, while providing additional opportunities to support the health, fitness and wellbeing of players and staff.

Newport County would like to thank Celtic Manor Resort for its support and looks forward to working together throughout the season.
