Newport County AFC can confirm the departure of goalkeeper Nik Tzanev, who has joined League One side Huddersfield Town on a permanent basis, subject to international clearance.
The New Zealand international, born in Wellington, joined the Exiles from Northampton Town in July last year and went on to make 14 appearances in all competitions during his time at Rodney Parade. Across his career to date, Nik has accumulated 182 professional appearances.
Everyone at Newport County would like to thank Nik for his professionalism and commitment during his time with the club and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career, which now continues at Huddersfield Town’s Accu Stadium.
