Newport County AFC can confirm that Kai Whitmore’s contract with the club has been terminated by mutual consent.
Neath-born Whitmore joined the Exiles in summer 2024, having initially emerged through the Swansea City academy before moving to Welsh League Ammanford, then progressing to JD Cymru Premier Penybont and Haverfordwest County.
Whitmore, 24, departs having made 52 appearances for the Exiles during his time at Rodney Parade, registering 12 goal contributions across all competitions.
