Newport County is delighted to announce the signing of winger Tanatswa Nyakuhwa on a season-long loan from Cardiff City.
The twenty-year-old returns to Rodney Parade having previously spent the second half of the 2025-26 season with County.
Nyakuhwa’s first spell with the club was disrupted by injury, limiting his opportunities to make an impact during the second half of the campaign. He now returns to County looking to put that spell behind him and continue his development with regular first-team football.
The winger is a product of the Cardiff City academy and has represented Wales at youth international level.
Nyakuhwa will provide Hayden Mullins with another option in the wide areas, bringing pace and attacking ability to the County squad as the club continues its 2026-27 League Two campaign.
