Newport County AFC can confirm that midfielder Cameron Antwi has joined League Two side Gillingham for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old, who had six months remaining on his contract with Newport, made 71 appearances, scoring six goals and providing four assists since arriving from Cardiff City in July 2024.
A product of the Fulham Academy, Antwi progressed through the ranks at Blackpool and Cardiff City, with loan spells at Southport and Telford providing valuable first-team experience. It was at Newport County that he became an established professional, making regular appearances and developing his game at senior level.
Newport County would like to thank Cameron for his contributions to the Club and wishes him every success in the next stage of his career.
