Newport County is delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Kieron Evans from Eastleigh.
The Welsh midfielder returns to Rodney Parade after a successful loan spell during the 2024-25 season, where he quickly became a popular figure with supporters through his energetic performances and attacking quality.
Evans arrives with valuable experience across the EFL and National League, having come through the academy at Cardiff City before enjoying loan spells with Linfield, Gateshead and Torquay United before a signing with Eastleigh last season.
The 24-year-old made 38 appearances for Newport County during his previous spell, scoring three goals and providing several memorable moments throughout the campaign.
Known for his energy and creativity from midfield, Evans adds further quality and familiarity to the squad ahead of the 2026-27 season.
