Newport County secure a point at MEMS Memorial Stadium in an action-packed game, drawing 0-0 with Gillingham.
County were the team on top in the first half, with chances from Christian Doidge and Michael Adu-Poku coming close.
However, in the second half Gillingham applied pressure to Newport's backline, but neither side could find the goal, with the game ending goalless.
Hayden Mullins made just one change to his starting eleven that beat Grimsby Town last weekend as Joe Thomas replaced Shaquille Gwengwe.
Newport came closest within the first five minutes of the game as Adu-Poku shifted past his man with his shot heading towards the bottom corner, but a clearance off the line from James Brophy kept the game level.
Ronan Hale and Lamin Sillah received early bookings 15 minutes into the game as Ciaran Brennan and Cameron Norman were both left on the floor.
The game was full of action as Harry Waldock had Gillingham's first chance of the game 18 minutes in as his low curling effort almost found goal but went wide.
Many efforts were fired towards Ollie Wright's goal halfway through the first half as Adu-Poku and Matty Jacob both fancied their chances, but neither could get the ball in the net.
Newport continued to dominate towards goal as a set-piece delivery found Norman at the back post, who headed it towards Doidge, but his header narrowly went wide.
Five minutes before the whistle blew for half time Waldock fired a low-driven cross into the box, causing trouble on the wing, but no one was there to put the ball into the goal.
On the brink of half time, Harrison Biggins received a yellow card after a foul on Brophy, with Gillingham winning a free kick in their defensive half.
The first promising chance of the second half fell to County as Biggins' cross almost found Doidge, but a block from Andy Smith stopped any danger towards goal.
Brophy grabbed the first chance for the Gills in the second half as he fired from range with space outside the box; however, his effort flew over the bar, with Jordan Wright being rewarded a goal kick.
With just over half an hour left, Matt Dibley-Dias received the ball in the box from a Norman throw, but he could not get his shot off as Gillingham ended another County attack.
With 20 minutes to go, Gillingham began to press Newport's defence as they hunted for the opener, but each cross could only find J. Wright.
Not long after, Jenkins made a huge block to keep the game level as Hale had a great opportunity to put the Gills in front; however, he was unable to make the most of it.
On the 80-minute mark Biggins attempted a shot on goal through a free kick but despite his effort going over the wall it could not find the target.
Norman gave County fans hope not long before the end of the game as his shot headed towards goal with O. Wright able to make a save.
However, despite an additional five minutes of added time, neither side could break the deadlock, with both sides earning a point.
