Eyes of the World by Rosellas

Returning after their feature last season, Rosellas have just released their second EP, Every Beautiful Night, which includes the standout track “Eyes of the World.”

Blending the musical heritage of their hometown, Manchester, with the rich textures of psychedelic rock and shoegaze, Rosellas have continued to build a strong reputation on the UK live circuit. The band’s growing profile has seen them perform at major festivals including Isle of Wight, Y Not?, Truck Festival, Liverpool Sound City, and Neighbourhood Festival.

Speaking about “Eyes of the World,” band members Drew and Euan reflected:

“We wrote it back during lockdown, and it really captures the feeling of that time. The lyrics have a dreamlike quality — that sense of being stuck in one place and longing to be somewhere else — which is something we think many people can relate to.”

With Every Beautiful Night, Rosellas reaffirm their position as one of the most exciting emerging acts in the UK’s alternative music scene.

Kept in mind by Redwood City

Hailing from nearby Caerphilly, this emerging teenage indie rock band has quickly made a name for themselves with a breakout year in 2024.

Their debut singles, “Uptight” and “Ashtray”, introduced a sound defined by bright guitar work, infectious hooks, and lyrics that reflect the realities of teenage life in Wales. Over the off-season, the band returned with “Kept in Mind” — a track that marks a noticeable evolution in their song writing. Combining emotional depth with sonic euphoria, it explores the bittersweet feeling of longing for a relationship that can never materialise.

Blending elements of indie rock, psychedelia, and alternative influences, their music delivers a sense of nostalgia and raw honesty, wrapped in youthful energy and atmosphere. With momentum continuing to build, they’re a band to keep firmly on your radar.

What If It Were Easy by Delicious Dee

If you've spent any time in a South Wales town or city centre, chances are you've come across Delicious Dee — a familiar face on the local busking scene.

The Cwmbran native has had a standout few months, picking up the Best Rap/Reggae” award at Newport City Radio’s Love Live Music Awards in June. Since then, he’s embarked on a busking tour across Wales, all while releasing a new single that highlights his growing talent and independence as an artist.

Written, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely from his bedroom studio, the track showcases Delicious Dee’s DIY ethos and creative control. Lyrically, it explores the emotional complexities of a relationship where both individuals struggle to maintain the emotional space needed for love to thrive — resulting in rising tension, doubt, and ultimately, a painful but inevitable end.

Delicious Dee continues to make waves with his unique blend of rap and reggae, carving out a name for himself in the Welsh music scene through raw talent, authenticity, and relentless dedication.
