Newport County will travel to AFC Wimbledon in the first round of the 2026-27 Carabao Cup.
Christian Fuchs’ side have been handed an away tie against the League One outfit following the draw, with attention now turning to the opening weekend of the new season.
Round One of the competition will kick-off the 2026-27 campaign, with ties set to be played over the weekend of August 7-9.
The Carabao Cup Round One draw features 70 clubs, including all 72 EFL sides and the winners from the Preliminary Round, with the draw regionalised into Northern and Southern sections.
