COUNTY INSTALL ADAM MULLANY AS HEAD GOALKEEPING COACH

Newport County boss Christian Fuchs has installed Adam Mullany as his new Head of Goalkeeping writes Anthony Rees.

Mullany, highly regarded by the FA of Wales where he influences the Pro Regional Squad, has graduated up to the Exiles' first-team from County's flourishing Academy.

Mullany, who previously served League of Wales Barry Town for four years and Championship Swansea City for three seasons, had also coached at the LSA Soccer Academy in Spain.

The Welshman has a BSc degree and a UEFA A License. He will now move from a part-time to full-time status and have direct influence over County glove men Jordan Wright, twice-capped New Zealand international Nik Tzanev and Shaun MacDonald.

Mullany, who was in the dugout for County's League Two clash against Barrow at Rodney Parade last Saturday, will accompany the Exiles party which travels across to National Conference club Boreham Wood for a televised FA Cup Second Round tie in Hertfordshire next Sunday.
