From the front of the station, facing the Great Western Hotel, turn left onto Station Road before heading right onto Corporation Street.
At the traffic lights, turn left onto Manchester Road. At the end of Manchester Road, turn right onto County Road. The entrance to the stadium is the second left.
The walk from the station takes approximately 15 minutes.
At the Ground
Swindon Town’s County Ground is more than 130 years old and remains a classic old-school English football stadium. With many clubs modernising or relocating, it is a venue rich in character and history.
Away supporters are housed in one side of the Arkells Stand, with space for approximately 1,200 fans. Positioned in line with the penalty area, the stand offers an excellent view when the action comes towards the Exiles.
Any tickets not collected will be taken up on the supporters bus.
Food and Drink
There is a wide range of food available inside the stadium. Kiosks in the Arkells Stand serve traditional matchday favourites including sausage rolls, pasties, pies and snacks.
External caterers around the ground include:
- 932 Pizza – Woodfire pizza slices
- Food with Attitude – Loaded fries and burgers
- Spud Shack – Jacket potatoes
- Snackerz – Toasties
- Mamas Sweet Treats – Crepes, waffles and cakes
- Sweets in Time – Pick and mix
Draft options on the concourses include Carling, Thatchers and Hurricane, alongside a selection of soft and hot drinks.
The only bar in the surrounding area that is strictly for home supporters is located inside the ground itself. All other pubs in the vicinity and town centre welcome away fans.
Safe travels to all Exiles making the journey to Swindon. We look forward to seeing and hearing your support at the County Ground.
