Spellman and Jenkins Join Soccer Tots to Kick Off EFL Week of Action

Newport County players Michael Spellman and Lee Jenkins helped kick off the EFL Week of Action in style on Monday, joining the County in the Community team for their popular Soccer Tots session.

The pair got involved in fun, football-filled activities alongside the club’s youngest participants, with some extra support from none other than Spytty the Dog. The visit brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and excitement to the young players as they learned new skills and shared the pitch with two of their Newport County heroes.

The EFL Week of Action shines a spotlight on the incredible work carried out by football club charities across England and Wales. More than 49 million people live within 15 miles of an EFL Club — that’s 82% of the population — showing just how central football clubs are to their communities.

Each season, over one million people engage with EFL club charities, highlighting the scale and lasting impact of their work in promoting education, inclusion, health, and wellbeing.
